This morning I asked the Lord what He wanted me to read in His Word as I the next few days I hope to be witnessing to many Muslims. I heard the name “Naaman” and so I went to 2 Kings 5 . (Thank God for the chapter headings, or it might have taken me a lot longer to find it! I was not yet on Biblefox!)
The first verse describes Naaman as a “great and honorable man” and a “mighty man of valor”. I must remember that there are honorable people within the Muslim community. However, Naaman was a leper. Leprosy is symbolic in Scripture for sinfulness. Honorable men need also to be cleansed of their sin. They must obey the Prophet and Lord Jesus Christ to be wholly cleansed!
Please pray for the Lord to give me many open doors to open hearts to open their eyes to the Truth of Jesus Christ!
