I agree that Antiochus is a type – a type of anti-christ as was Titus. Jesus prophesied of Titus, but further there is an ultimate fulfillment in another Anti-christ that will precede Jesus’ Second Coming because in Matthew 24:15-30 and Mark 13:14-26 these monumental events are linked together. In Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, and Luke 12:5-6, Jesus tells His disciples (and maybe others) that the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed.
