The B and HL Feb Fast Group: 1 year, 11 months ago · ViewOne of my favorite things to think about is how God is my Protector, and Ps 3:3 reminds me of that. I love picturing God shielding me and protecting me.

I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. (Psalm 3:5)Why do I live? Because of the Lord. Why do I work? Because of the Lord. Why do I eat? Because of the Lord. Why do I sleep? Because of the Lord. He is my all in all.
Yes! Good thoughts. This reminded me of a common saying in my house growing up, but I hadn’t really paid attention to the meaning until the past couple of years. My parents would always say, ”Si Dios quiere” (which means ”God willing”), after someone would talk about something in the future. Back then I just saw it as some routine phrase that was tacked on to everything, but now I feel like those words have a whole new meaning. They signify recognizing that God is in control of your life and will happen today, tomorrow and the next.
